Why Panama?
The Republic of Panama, is a country located in Central America, between the countries Colombia and Costa Rica, it has the Pacific and Atlantic oceans being privileged by these waters that surround it, seas that fill it with infinite advantages over other nations. The existence of both greatnesses has facilitated communication with more than 75 countries since August 15, 1914, the date on which the Panamanian navigation channel was built.
Divided by two locks: Gatún Lake; made up of three gates that raise the ships to 26 meters above sea level; Each one measures 33.5 meters wide and 306 meters long, the time it takes to fill with water is approximately 8 to 15 minutes. For their part, the Miraflores locks are 9.4 meters long, making the ships descend towards the Pacific Ocean. Its effect is focused on shortening the maritime communication distances and times for vessels, providing them with a short and cheaper transit route between these two great oceans.
The Republic of Panama is a sovereign independent state, which respects the individual and social rights, where the will of the majority is the highest expression of the people, represented by free vote. Its powers are exercised through three main bodies: legislative, executive and judiciary, which ratifies that the people emanate participative democracy.
Panama’s advantages are many, global trading patterns, for example, have encouraged millions of investors from around the world, the result of stable economic represented by balboa currency (U.S. dollar). It has also boosted growth in developed countries and it has provided support to those on their way of developing. Panama has the best financial system in Latin America, comprising more than 80 banks involved in operating and promoting the nation’s growing economy and competitiveness.
